VST ECS (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (formerly known as The Value Systems Co., Ltd.) was established in Thailand in 1988. Now, VST ECS (Thailand) is a member of the VST ECS Group, a regional distribution network having headquarter in Hong Kong. VST ECS is a leading ICT distributors in Asia Pacific who has a network of more than 48,000 active channel partners across China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Laos.
VST ECS (Thailand) provides a comprehensive range of IT products through its 4 core businesses - Consumer, Commercial, Solutions and Device & Lifestyle. It represents leading-edge products more than 70 brands and has a subsidiary in Myanmar named "VST ECS (Myanmar) Services Co., Ltd." established in April 2014, for focusing on enterprise systems business especially.
VST ECS (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (VST ECS) has signed a new agreement with Broadcom to act as a distributor for VMware solutions, serving customers across the ASEAN and China regions. Under this new agreement, VST ECS will continue to serve its channel partners, maintaining its role as a VMware distributor just as it did prior to the Broadcom acquisition.
VST ECS and its partners will undertake the crucial mission of supporting and driving the transition of VMware's large customer base to the new subscription license model. Concurrently, they will promote the widespread awareness and adoption of VMware's Private Cloud infrastructure solutions under Broadcom. To achieve this, VST ECS will strengthen its partners with expertise and experience in go-to-market strategies for the new VMware model, ensuring that customers gain the maximum benefit from their investment in VMware software.
Under the agreement, VST ECS will continue to provide the full range of VMware solution products as before, including new offerings such as VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), VMware vSphere Foundation (VVF), as well as supplementary solutions like VMware vSAN and VMware Live Recovery.
VST ECS is stepping up its capabilities to provide technical support for the products that customers choose and is making it easier for customers to access local expertise in the language and time zone they need. The delivery of VMware solution services by VST ECS is further supported by Broadcom, which enables VST ECS to enhance the customer experience for commercial customers by providing more direct access to specialized knowledge and personalized assistance.
